My business is exporting medicine and our main market is in the developing countries. We have
setup our position in the industry at some extent. However we have to do more if
we need a breakup for our business. Several months ago, we considered to do some
promotion on Internet. We thought about alibaba.com and globalsource.com, but exportchina.com
was chosen finally. In addition to price advantage, the most attractive one is the
global network comprised of up to 191 country-specific portals. In another word,
paying once means you have all of them.
To be honest, we just wanted to try at the beginning. What we really thought is
that even one deal made by exportchina.com in one year can return our investment.
At the first weeks, we didn’t get any inquiries. We called the service center in
Hangzhou and knew more about how the system of exportchina.com works. At exportchina.com,
the inquire is not on quantity, but quality instead.
Several weeks ago, we began to receive some inquiries. We are very glad that we
got response from all of them. This is completely different from other B2B websites
that we normally never got any response when we sent emails to potential buyers.
After several talks, we have sent samples to some of these potential clients. Our
products are certified by international quality systems, we are sure we can make
deal only if the clients are serious.
From current situation, we can see that clients from exportchina.com are serious.
I have been in export business for more than 15 years, so that I can identify who
is real and who isn’t. They didn’t focus on price only, or broadly promise something.
In fact, I can see that they have read our website carefully and known our products
very well. Therefore the questions they asked me are critical. They asked me to
explain again if they didn’t understand something I explained. Is it possible that
clients place order only two or three questions are asked? I understand them. In
a whole, everything is going well now, deal is coming soon.
Last week, ExportChina .com’s service center in Hangzhou called me, and I told them
several orders are in going now. They asked me if I can share something with other
members. Of course, I am glad to share my experiences, that’s what you see here
now. I am not supposed to sell something here, but just to make more friends with
my expriences. I think this will benefit for all.
